Beautiful tribute ..
Wish you a very happy and peaceful 4th July Lauren.
Thanks so much, Soma, and I love this image, too! xoxo
Hi Lauren–First, Happy Fourth of July! Second–I’m so sorry that in all the recent blog issues, I “lost” you again–good grief. Have remedied that once more–and will catch up! Much love, Caddo
Hi Caddo, thank you and I’m really glad to see you around here again. I just emailed you, which will explain more…and when you say you’ll catch up, you’re not kidding! You’ve been very busy! 🙂 I enjoyed seeing your smile so many times today! Love and hugs, L
Excellent!! Happy Fourth of July!! Love, Linda
Thanks, Linda, and I hope you’ve enjoyed your day, too! xoxo
Funny how we say ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ when we see fireworks 🙂 Have a great day, happy fourth of July!
It is funny, but they’re so spectacular, it’s hard not to “ooh” and “ahh!” I hope you’re having a great day, too, Christy, thanks! 🙂
Simply beautiful Lauren!
Thanks so much, Wendell! 🙂
Happy Fourth of July!
Fireworks are always grand.
Awww…thank you, Binky, and yes, they are! I’m sure you’re having a big barbecue at your beach house with a special surprise of red, white and blue pancakes! Am I right? 🙂
What a wonderful double haiku Lauren! 🙂 Hope you and your family had a beautiful day, too! 🙂
Thanks, Gabby, we did and I hope you all did, too! I’ll be over your way soon! 🙂
Hope you had a marvelous holiday, my dear! We had a lazy and unproductive, and therefore *fantastic* day, only leaving home for an afternoon walk and early light supper. That’s my idea of personal freedom! 😉
We did, but it was different this year…our daughter (20) went to the fair with her boyfriend, our son (17) went to some friend’s, whose family wasn’t doing anything either. And my hubby and I played tourist in Sausalito (you know where I’m talking about, I think, just north of S.F.), had lunch, walked around and shopped a bit. It was quiet, but nice and later we grilled! Your sounds wonderful, too! 🙂
Love the double haiku!! XD
Thanks so much and I’ll be over your way soon! 🙂
Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July! Beautiful photographs to go along with your double Haiku! I’m trying to dedicate some time right now to visit other blogs. I’m glad I stopped by yours!
Thank you so much, Danielle! I am far behind in reading, but I appreciate your visit and will visit you real soon! I hope you also had a great 4th! 🙂
Despite all of our faults as a country, it is still wonderful to celebrate with lovely friends such as you, dear Lauren!
Oh, thank you, Rose, you made my day and I can say the same about you, too! xo
Hi Lauren! I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July this year! Much love and hugs xoxo
My hubby and I played tourist in a local town, lunch out, shopping, while our daughter and her bf were at the fair and our son was hanging out with other friends! A little different, but it was a good day! Love and hugs to you, too, and I hope yours was fun, also! xo
So lively and patriotic……it screams of love of family and country….. 🙂

Sadly, another Russel Ray camping trip comes to an end………………..
So sorry to hear that, Russell! It’s been a couple of years since we’ve camped and we miss it, too! My hubby and son (17) are going on a 50 miler in August, though, so that will appease them! 🙂
